It is a known fact that Superstar Rajinikanth’s next project is titled, Jailer. His last movie was Annathey, after which the Superstar took a brief break for health reasons. Now, Jailer is getting ready to entertain the audience. The film’s shooting commenced recently, and the movie’s first look was released as well in which Rajini is seen with a light beard and cold eyes. Along with his trademark hairstyle, he is seen with goggles as well. This look was instantly made viral on social media by Superstar fans. Nelson Dilip Kumar is at the helm of the project while Sun Pictures Banner is bankrolling the project. This is the 169th film of Superstar.
While Anirudh Ravichander is providing the music, the leading lady is not yet finalized. Tamannaah Bhatia and Aishwarya Rai’s names are being heard prominently in the film circles. Rajini and Aish have already acted together in the Robo. Ramya Krishnan and Siva Rajkumar will be seen in key roles. Earlier, before Annathey, Rajini tries to enter politics but as his health deteriorated, the actor took good treatment and was back with Annathey. Though the film was not a big success in Telugu and other languages, it did perform well in its original Tamil language. As for Jailer, the Kollywood circles say that a special set is erected for the current schedule in Chennai. A majority of the film’s shooting will be completed on this set. It is a lengthy schedule and once it is completed, there are a few more schedules which would be taking place for the protagonist’s flashback scenes. Overall, Jailer is said to be having all the ingredients of a mass masala blockbuster.
