Is Dasara a Female Oriented Film? Nani confirms.

Nani and Keerthy Suresh’s highly anticipated Telugu project, Dasara is touted to be a rural action drama and is helmed by newcomer Srikanth Odela. After a long wait and multiple schedules, Nani and Keerthy Suresh have now wrapped up the shooting of their ambitious project and the film is all set to release. Interestingly is that Nani said that Dasara revolves around Keerthy Suresh which raised doubt that this film is a female-oriented movie.

When asked about Keerthy Suresh, Nani said, “When Srikanth and I discussed the film, we felt someone like Keerthy Suresh should play Vennila. The whole film revolves around her. We need someone relatable who could exude innocence. There’s no better choice than Keerthy,”.

Also, Nani narrated the funny incident that took place. “When Srikanth narrated the script to her the first time, we didn’t hear from her and we thought we needed to find another actor for the role. She casually called one day and we were chatting and I asked her why she didn’t get back to us on Dasara. She was like she hadn’t heard any script. I called Srikanth and he told me he had narrated it to her for three hours. I realized there was some confusion and when I sent her Srikanth’s photo, she recognized him. She apparently couldn’t understand Srikanth’s rural Telangana slang, but Keerthy was very sweet and didn’t want to offend him. We did another narration and she was so happy and said she would have missed the amazing script,” he added.
