Sreeleela is quickly becoming the sensation in Tollywood as she bagged nine chances in a row and became top choice for big-budget as well as medium-budget films. The success of “Dhamaka,” as well as her cute looks and dance moves in the film, has made filmmakers realize her true potential.
At the same time, Tollywood’s reigning queen, Pooja Hegde, has fallen out of favour with back to back flops. In the last two years, she has only had disasters like Radhe Shyam, Acharya and Cirkus. Pooja Hegde is struggling to find new work after four consecutive flops. So the actress pinned all her hopes on SSMB28, starring Mahesh Babu and being directed by Trivikram. Also, she wanted Trivikram to come up with a terrific character for her so that she can reinstate her position as the lead actress. Much to her dismay, happening beauty Sree Leela has been roped in as another female lead for this film.
Initially, Pooja was the only female lead and another heroine was supposed to play second fiddle to her like in all Trivikram’s previous films. However, in the latest script penned by Trivikram, it is heard that two heroines have equal significance. Confirming the presence the same, the SSMB28 producer said that it is wrong to call her the second heroine of the film. “People on social media have been describing her as the second heroine. There is no such thing as the first heroine and the second heroine as far as our film is concerned. Both Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela are heroines of SSMB28,” the producer commented.
So, Pooja is said to be disappointed with Trivikram’s decision to bring in a big competitor who could spoil her comeback plans. It is also heard she conveyed her dissatisfaction over the same to her close buddies.
