Nikhil Siddhartha’s Karthikeya 2 was on hold for many days and finally saw the light of day on August 13th but with a very limited number of screens. However, crossing all the hurdles, the film opened to excellent talk and the best occupancies.
Also, because of other big films that were released, Karthikeya 2 did not get many screens. But still the film is bagging great collections.
Top of all, the film collected almost Rs. 6.10 crores on Saturday and then managed to grow on that on Sunday. With this very strong weekend, the film has become this blockbuster hit at the box office.
The other interesting thing is that the movie bagged solid collections even on Monday. On the occasion of Independence day holiday, the film on Monday almost collected as it did on the weekend. As Nithin’s Macherla Niyojakavargam scored disaster, it also became a great advantage for the film and it is being said that all the parties involved will surely see profits with this mystery drama.
