The trailer starts with Alia Bhatt waking up to a call on her phone where she asks her brother Ankur if he’s taking drugs and if he screws up something and keeps on asking her brother if he did something or touch something and tells him to clean up the evidence in the place. cut to Alia Bhatt’s brother portrayed by Vedang Raina is seen in court charged with a death sentence by electrocution in three months.
Now Alia is seen in her intense form preparing physically. The trailer now delves into the intense action sequences featuring Alia Bhatt. She is on a mission to save his brother no matter what it takes. The trailer ends with showcasing the bond between Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina as brother and sister. The question remains will Alia Bhatt be able to save her brother before the clock ticks? To find out the answer audience has to wait till the movie release. In a recent Chat with Jr NTR and Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt candidly revealed the reasons why she chose to do Jigra. “When I signed Jigra I think I was in my tigress mode. I was in my most protective- like, ‘No one come near her,’ mode. That was the energy. That is why I always say destiny, luck, life has so much to play in things going a certain way. Forget the fate of Jigra, the fact that it came to me also was… wow what is this timing! That I am feeling this way and it came. It had all of those things laced over it.” Alia Said.
