Tollywood star Hero Jr NTR emerged as a pan-India sensation with Rajamouli’s RRR, which set the box office on fire last year. Though the film was released last year still this film made headlines daily.
The film is creating waves internationally, something that is great news for India ahead of the Oscars. Going with an interesting update, the top magazine has mentioned Jr NTR in its ‘Best Actor’ prediction list for the Academy Awards. RRR is a period-action drama, directed by SS Rajamouli.
The Komaram Bheem character played by Jr NTR had made it to Variety’s top 10 list for ‘Best Actor’ at the Oscars. He features in the ‘Honorable Mentions’ segment of the list alongside the likes of Hugh Jackman (The Son) and Will Smith (Emancipation). ‘RRR for Oscars’ trended on Twitter again.
RRR has Ram Charan also along with Jr NTR. Recently Ace director Rajamouli was also honored with a prestigious award in Los Angeles.
RRR is a period drama that features Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the tribal leader Komaram Bheem, and the revolutionary Alluri Sita Rama Raju, respectively.
