Kangana Ranaut’s highly anticipated film Emergency has been postponed once again. On Wednesday, Manikarnika Films, the production banner behind the film, announced the delay on their social media handle. The statement cited Kangana’s prioritization of her national duties and commitment to serve the country as the reasons for the postponement. The actor-turned-politician is currently Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate for Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha seat.

Manikarnika Films released an official statement on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the support from fans and explaining the decision to delay the film’s release. The statement read, “Our hearts are filled with love pouring in for our queen Kangana Ranaut. As she prioritises her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much awaited film Emergency has been postponed. We promise to update you soon with a new release date. Thank you for your continued support.”

Previous Release Dates

Originally, Emergency was set to release on June 14. Kangana had announced this date shortly after attending the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya in January. The film, directed and written by Kangana, was initially scheduled for a November 24, 2023 release but was postponed due to changes in her schedule.
