Karthik Aaryan Acknowledges Actresses’ Challenges in the Film Industry

Karthik Aaryan, celebrated for his recent portrayal of Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion, received acclaim for his honest depiction of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. While the film focused on his character without a female lead, Karthik Aaryan reflected on his experiences working alongside A-list actresses such as Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu, among others.

In a recent interview on the podcast Be A Man Yaar, Kartik Aaryan shared insights into the challenges actresses face in the film industry, prompted by a question from actress Triptii Dimri. When asked what he had learned from his female co-stars, Kartik candidly expressed admiration for their dedication and hard work.

Karthik Aaryan emphasized,I’ve never said this before, but all my female co-stars put in a lot of effort.”

Acknowledging the disparity in the effort required from actresses compared to actors, Karthik Aaryan emphasized, “I’ve never said this before, but all my female co-stars put in a lot of effort, especially. They have to work much harder than us. For them, it’s not just about talent or appearance.”

Elaborating further, Kartik highlighted the multitasking demands on actresses, mentioning,I can’t imagine myself wearing stilettos, managing my hair, dancing, and delivering expressions while focusing on the scene. They handle so many external factors. If I had to do all that, I’d be nervous and unable to concentrate on acting.”

Kartik Aaryan’s observations extended beyond the physical challenges, emphasizing the broad thought process actresses bring to their roles. He remarked, “Their hard work is on a different level. I believe their efforts surpass ours.”

Karthik Aaryan’s remarks shed light on the nuanced challenges actresses navigate in an industry often scrutinized for its gender dynamics. Karthik Aaryan’s perspective underscores the multifaceted nature of acting, where actresses not only embody characters but also manage numerous external pressures seamlessly.
