Amidst South-Indian films creating sensations in Bollywood, there is no exception for Nikhil Siddhartha’s recent film Karthikeya 2 at the box office. Even after two weeks of the film release, the movie is having a fabulous run at the box office. Not only in Telugu but the movie is having a great run in Hindi as well.
As per the trusted reports, this mythological thriller bagged almost Rs. 70 lakhs in the North Indian belt on this week Tuesday. With that, the total collections in the Hindi-speaking circuit stand at Rs. 25.21 crores.
Noted thing is that, there are no big releases in Bollywood until the release of Brahmastra, which hits the screens on September 9. Thus, Karthikeya 2 may continue its stupendous box-office run for the next eight days as well.
Going by the current trend, the film may comfortably cross the 30-crore mark in Bollywood within a few days which is a huge achievement for a small Telugu film like Karthikeya 2.
Helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, Karthikeya 2 has Anupama Parameswaran, Tulasi, Srinivas Reddy, Aditya Menon and Viva Harsha in key roles.
