Actress Keerthy Suresh became an overnight star with the blockbuster film Mahanati. While this earned her a lot of appraisals, it also bought her hard times in the form of expectations on her future projects.
Despite her many films after Mahanati, there is not even a single film that marked Keerthy Suresh fabulous performance and bagged her a super-hit. Meanwhile, it is now said that the actress is going to act again in a women-centric film helmed by National award winner Sudha Kongara.
Acclaimed director Sudha Kongara is currently directing the Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru’,(Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra) with Akshay Kumar reprising Suriya’s role in the remake. Earlier, it is heard that this director is going to team up with Suriya again for a gangster film.
But as per the latest reports, Sudha will be making a female centric film before that and Keerthy Suresh has been approached to play the lead role. Interestingly, this film is said to be produced by Homable films.
For the unversed, earlier in April itself, Homable films took to their social media account and announced that Sudha Kongara will be collaborating with them for a film based on true events. And as per the present reports, Keerthy Suresh is approached for the same project to play the main lead.
However, the official announcement of the cast and crew of the film is yet to be confirmed.
