The wedding of Abhishek, the son of Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh, was attended by a number of prominent figures from the South Indian film industry.
Rebel star Ambareesh’s son Abhishek Ambareesh tied the knot with fashion designer Aviva Bidap on June 5 in a grand manner. Hasemane has ascended today in the Mahurta held from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Sandalwood, Tollywood, Kollywood cine luminaries, and many dignitaries including Super Star Rajinikanth, Mohan Babu, and Venkaiah Naidu were involved in this beautiful moment. On Saturday, the ‘Haldi’ Ceremony marked the beginning of the intricate wedding ritual. A large number of celebrities, including cricketer Anil Kumble, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Telugu actor Mohan Babu, former vice president Venkaiah Naidu, rock star Yash, and others, attended the wedding.
Actor Doddanna and movie producer Rockline Venkatesh were also present to greet the visitors. The Vokkaliga tradition was followed at the marriage ceremony. On June 7, there will be a wedding reception. The wedding of the couple will include more than 10,000 guests. Prime Minister Narendra Modi too was invited to the wedding by Mandya MP Sumalatha.
After inviting the PM, she said, “I firmly believe that India and Karnataka need such promising leaders and leadership. My son Abhishek and I visited the PM to invite him to the wedding and were given an invitation and blessed.” She further added, “ On this occasion many issues about the state and my Mandya Constituency were discussed. The Honourable Prime Minister remembered the manner in which he was received by my self-respecting people when he came to Mandya and praised him. My heartfelt thanks for his immense admiration for Mandya and Karnataka.”
