Kiara Advani’s Future Collaborations with Sidharth Malhotra

Kiara Advani made her international film festival debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, where she attended the Women In Cinema Gala. On the sidelines of this prestigious event, she opened up about the possibility of working with her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, again after their successful collaboration in the 2021 film Shershaah.

Reflecting on Shershaah’s Impact

Kiara acknowledged the love and appreciation they received as a couple from Shershaah. She mentioned that while fans are excited to see them together again, she would only agree to another project with Sidharth if it genuinely appealed to her. She emphasized the importance of their individual growth as actors and said they would consider future projects based on their personal excitement and interest.

Kiara’s Thoughts on Working Together Again

Kiara stated, “I feel like Shershaah gave us a lot of love as a couple. So there’s a certain excitement, and people want to see us together… I’ve never really thought of it like, ‘As a couple, how does this work?’ I think we’re individual people first and actors first so that’s how we would go about looking for something. But yeah, we would love to work together, but it has to excite us equally.”

Sidharth and Kiara’s Journey

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who tied the knot on February 7, 2023, initially worked together in Shershaah, a biopic of Indian Army officer Vikram Batra, who was martyred in the Kargil War. Sidharth portrayed the war hero, while Kiara played his fiancée, Dimple. The couple, who had been in a relationship for a while, never publicly confirmed their relationship before their wedding.

At the Cannes Film Festival, Kiara was one of the six women honored at the Women In Cinema Gala. The event was hosted by the Red Sea International Film Festival and Vanity Fair Europe. Other honorees included Saudi Arabian singer-actor Aseel Omran, Saudi Arabian actor Adhwa Fahad, Senegalese director-screenwriter Ramata-Toulaye Sy, Thai actor-model Sarocha Chankimha aka Freen, and Egyptian actor-model Salma Abu Deif.

For the event, Kiara opted for an off-shoulder pink and black gown with a bow on the back and black lace gloves. She completed her look with a high bun, an ornate necklace, and a ring. Kiara shared a series of photos from the event on Instagram, captioning her post, “A night to remember.”
