Kirti Kulhari has always defied Bollywood conventions in both her performances and career decisions. The Four more shots please actress has posted sneak peeks of her new hairstyle on social media as yet another illustration of this. Kirti bid her hair farewell and embraced the short, cropped appearance. Kirti stated that she was changing her hairdo for herself and not for any role while posting a video of herself sporting it. She remarked that she had always wanted to do this. Kirti wrote “#newendings #newbeginnings” as her caption. I made the decision to do this a month ago, and now I’ve finished. Being a #heroine has its own set of limits and limitations in the business I work in.
Unspoken requirement: Have long hair, or at least shoulder-length hair. Here I am, over 15 years later, working in the field and doing what I love. I don’t have time to put off doing what I want to do. And each time I did something that was out of the ordinary, I felt strong and unstoppable. Here I am, making yet another decision and #livingmyway.
