Lawrence Raghavendra is an Indian dance choreographer, actor, director, composer, dancer, and playback singer. He is a self-made actor who worked hard into making his career. At the start of his career, he appeared in many songs as a back dancer. He played the main lead in the Tamil movie ‘Arpudham’. He had a breakthrough with the film Muni. He gave hit films like Pandi, Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam,Muni 2: Kanchana,Muni 3: Kanchana 2,Muni 4: Kanchana 3.
The actor is making his comeback after four years of Kaanchana 3. He is currently working on the ‘Rudran’ movie. ‘Rudhran’ is an upcoming Tamil language action thriller movie written by K. P Thirumaaran, while it is produced and directed by S. Kathiresan. The movie stars Raghava Lawrence, R. Sarathkumar, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Poornima Bhagyaraj.
The plot revolves around Rudhran and Bhoomi who is a corporate magnate. Rudhran becomes a hurdle in illegal activities headed by Bhoomi. He causes personal loss to Rudhran. So, Rudhran wages a war against Bhoomi to avenge him.
Lawrence is reportedly being paid 15 crores as remuneration for this movie. The other actors in the movie are also being handsomely paid. Priya Bhavani Shankar is said to be paid 2 crores while Sarath Kumar is being paid 1 crore.
The movie was primarily planned to release in December 2022 but due to many reasons, it got delayed. The movie is scheduled to release on 14 April 2023
