Superstar Mahesh and Trivikram Srinivas’s combo SSMB28 seems to have started on a wrong note. Ever since the project was announced, it has become a trend for them to postpone the project further ahead. Even before the start of the project, there were a lot of discussions regarding its future. Trivikram was suggested several changes by Mahesh and the director, along with his producers went to Europe time and again to explain the changes he made. Even when the complete script is locked and the team were on the same page, Mahesh yet again took a break to join his son Gautham in a foreign college.
When he was back from that tour, the movie should have started. But, the commencement moved further owing to the strike decision of the producers’ council. After that, as the shoot has begun and that too with a fight sequence ala Aravinda Sametha, the film’s progress hit the roadblock yet again. If the reports are to be believed, the actor-director duo of SSMB28 are very unhappy with the output of the fight sequence.
Anbu and Ariv, the fight choreographers of KGF were roped in for the movie and the reports say that neither Mahesh nor Trivikram is impressed with the fights. It is being said that they cancelled the shoot for now and are re-assessing the situation. Most probably, the fight will be called off and might be made again in another fight master’s choreography, says the movie team.
As the movie is being planned to be released the next May, it seems that the movie team might have to hurry in order to meet the deadlines. While Pooja Hegde will act as the female lead alongside Superstar, Haarika and Hassine Creations banner is producing the film.
