The Witcher is a fantasy adventure drama television series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for Netflix. It is based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
Previously there have been rumors of The Witcher season 5. But this is the first time an official confirmation has been made by an official source.
The show’s casting director Sophie Holland revealed that the team will start shooting for the fourth season soon. She indicated that Season 4 will see Liam Hemsworth.
Holland indicated that the fifth season of The Witcher will be shot back to back with Season 4. Holland said, “We’re just about to start filming on season four with Liam Hemsworth and there will be a short gap then we go straight into season five.”
The most anticipated series The Witcher season 3 is all set to premiere by June 29.
The story of The Witcher revolves around Geralt of Rivia, a brooding professional monster hunter who struggles to keep his humanity in a medieval dark fantasy world ruled by corrupt kings, queens, and mages.
