A source close to Hollywood reported that Matthew Vaughn is set to direct a movie and musical written by La La Land director Damien Chazelle.
Argylle director Mathew Vaughn has added yet another film to his growing roster of projects: a musical written by Damien Chazelle. The new collaboration came as a surprise to both director’s fans, as they couldn’t be any more different in terms of tone and style.
Mathew Vaughn is the director behind three Kingsman movies and X Men: First Class. His recent action film Argylle was released on 2nd February to mixed reviews and isn’t cutting it with a $ 16.5 million opening.
Been wondering what Chazelle has been working on since Babylon. Find it more interesting that he won’t be directing a feature. There’s no news about the next directorial flick. Many fans feel that it would be better if the film was directed by Damien Chazelle as he wrote the story. The film is such a tribute to the La La Land fans.
