Mohanlal is one of the versatile actors of South India, and he is one of the few actors who never steps back to release his films on OTT. Despite a negative trend, he dropped Drishyam 2 on Amazon Prime Video and made it a big hit. He was supposed to release his next film, Monster, on OTT, but we hear that he backed out of the plan now.
Earlier, Fahadh Faasil also stepped back on his decision to release Malayankunju on the OTT. The film recently had a theatrical release, becoming a big hit at the box office.
Now, Monster will also take the same route. Directed by Puli Murugan fame Vysakh, the film is expected to have a theatrical release soon, and the makers are reportedly canceling the deal to release the film on OTT.
The film also stars Lakshmi Manchu, Honey Rose, and Sudev Nair in pivotal roles. More details of the film will be out soon.
