We already knew that a sexual assault case has been filed against Unni Mukundan in 2017. It was reported that Unni Mukundan allegedly attempted to sexually assault a woman. The popular Malayalam actor got caught in a sexual assault case when a woman alleged that he attempted to sexually assault her. She stated that she went to his Kochi home to discuss a movie where the actor forced himself on her. She filed the case in September 2017 and it is still running in the court. Recently, the Kerala High Court rejected the ‘Malikappuram’ actor’s petition to quash the case and stated that the trial will continue against the actor.
Now, the High Court has updated that the trial will be completed within three months. According to reports, the woman has provided enough proofs to substantiate her alleged claims and has already presented them in the court. So, it seems that the court claimed that the trial must take place to reach a decision based on the evidence. The fans are still in disbelief regarding the outrageous behaviour of the actor and are hugely disappointed in him. On the film front, Unni Mukundan is busy with his next, ‘Gandharva Jr’.
