Nikhil Siddhartha’s Karthikeya 2 is finally set to hit the screens on August 12th after a lot of postponements. This film, which locked its release date twice prior to August 12th, got postponed because of some unknown reasons.
Sharing about those reasons behind the film’s postponement, Nikhil in an interview revealed some interesting things. The actor said that this happened because he and his film had no background. He added that he literally cried when a few people told him they will not give theaters for his film.
On the other hand, we know that Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s ‘Bimbisara’ and Nitin’s ‘Macharla Niyojakavargam ‘are slated for release on August 5. Marking this Nikhil said that they were asked to push back ‘Kartikeya 2’ even from August 12 because of other movie releases.
Nikhil also asked that when there is an obvious situation that one film has to clash with some or other film, what is the point of postponing only Karthikeya 2. The actor concluded that the film is finally releasing on August 12th because of the strong stand of ‘Kartikeya 2’ producers TG Vishwaprasad and Abhishek Agarwal.
Helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, this film is going to get released in Bollywood as well on August 12th.
