Pawan Kalyan’s birthday special; ‘Gabbar Singh’ re-release breaks the records

Power Star Pawan Kalyan celebrates his 53 birthday today, September 2nd and one of his blockbusters, ‘Gabbar Singh’ has been re-released on September 1st.

Gabbar Singh aimed for a record for Tollywood re-releases. the film has been remastered in the 4K version for their fans. Since its re-release, Gabbar Singh has generated 2.31 crores in revenue from ticket sales nationwide, with Telugu states accounting for the lion’s share of this total. The first day’s pre-sales are 2.09 crores gross, while the premieres’ pre-sales are 22 lakh gross. According to admissions, the movie has sold more than 1.40 lakh tickets in India.

Fans are thrilled to see the most celebrated movie of Power star on the big screens again. They have been doing the poojas to the huge cutouts that are kept outside the theatres. The action film Gabbar Singh was directed by Harish Shankar and released in 2012. The film’s soundtrack was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Jayanan Vincent handled cinematography. With some significant character and narrative alterations, it is a remake of the 2010 Hindi film Dabangg.

In the story, a police officer named Venkataratnam Naidu takes on the moniker Gabbar Singh after being influenced by a character in a movie. Positioned in a village, he contends with a neighbourhood bully who wants to go into politics and manipulates his half-brother. Gabbar Singh sets out on a journey to upend the criminal’s crooked political aspirations and bring justice back.
