Actor Prakash Raj came in support of Sai Pallavi regarding her recent controversy. The Virata Parvam actress has compared the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus to the mob lynching while speaking in a recent interview. This led to an uproar in the Kashmiri Pandits and many netizens as well. There were cases registered against the actress by Hindu groups demanding an apology. As the matter grew from bad to worse, Sai Pallavi released a video last night explaining the context in which she has spoken the controversial lines.
Actor Prakash Raj retweeted Sai Pallavi’s tweet and supported her, saying, “humanity is first, and we are with you.” Many left ideologists, anti-BJP celebrities, and netizens also came in support of Pallavi when the controversy was at its full peak. Meanwhile, it’s noteworthy that Sai Pallavi didn’t apologize in the video. Even though many mainstream newspapers and media channels are trying to portray that she had apologized, never once in the video did Pallavi say anything about being sorry. Rather than that, she stood firmly by her words and cemented her claim more.
