The Alphonse Puthren directorial, which is touted to be a dark comedy, starring Prithviraj and Nayanatara has already been delayed three months. This dark comedy which titled Gold was supposed to release for Onam 2022. But the delay in post-production works makes the movie postponed. The audience were eagerly waiting for the update on the film’s release date.
It seems that the team is gearing up to announce its release date,According to the rumours, the director has reportedly completed his work on the movie and the film’s producers, Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, are now eyeing a December 2 release. This is incidentally also the same day that Mohanlal’s Alone will slated to release.
Gold has oshan Mathew, Deepti Sati, Chemban Vinod Jose, Lalu Alex, Krishna Sankar, Shabareesh Varma, Shanti Krishna, Baburaj, Ajmal Amir, Vinay Forrt and Jagadish are also part of the cast of the movie.
If Gold hit theatres on December 2, it will mark Prithviraj’s first release in a busy month. He is also part of Mohanlal’s Alone, for which he has given voice for a character, and has Shaji Kailas’ Kaapa set for a December 22 release. The latter has him essaying the role of a gangster named Kotta Madhu.
