Priyanka Chopra became a Global Star after acting for several years in Bollywood. She is currently acting in Hollywood. Along with Hollywood, she is also trying to act in Bollywood and has always been supportive of our Indian films. Priyanka Chopra even attended the screening of RRR in Los Angeles. She even shared pictures from the screening on her Twitter handle and she wrote: “Least I can do to contribute to this incredible Indian film’s journey.”
Recently, she appeared in Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, and while speaking about the RRR film, when the interviewer mistakenly said it is a Bollywood film. While correcting him, she made a mistake herself by calling it a Tamil film. She said, “That’s a Tamil movie by the way.” She continued and made the same mistake, “It’s like big, mega, blockbuster Tamil which does all of those… it’s like our Avengers.”
All the netizens have been trolling her since then, saying how can she say it is a Tamil film. Instead, she could have said it’s an Indian film. All the Indian audience are trolling her since then. Till now, there is no response from Priyanka, but that mistake made all the audience angry.
