Malaysia Vasudevan, a celebrated Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor, passed away in 2011. His final project with Rajinikanth was in the 1987 film “Oor Kavalan.” The decision to use AI to bring back his iconic voice for “Manasilaayo” adds a nostalgic layer to the song, making it a poignant tribute for fans and a highlight of the film’s musical score.
