‘ Animal’, Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming violent action film, will premiere in theatres on December 1. Advance bookings began on November 25 in cities like Delhi and Mumbai.
After the trailer’s release, the hype for the film skyrocketed. The producer increased the advance booking for the film, and the ticket prices in Delhi and Mumbai are pretty high, reaching a staggering Rs 2200. Animal has sold over 36,000 tickets already in three national chains – PVR Inox & Cinepolis – and is looking to top 50,000 tickets in 24 hours.
The trailer received immense love from the audience and mixed reviews from the critics, saying too much violence. About the film, Animal seems primarily centered on a father-son relationship, with Anil and Ranbir Kapoor playing their respective roles. As Arjun Singh, the latter looks raw and intense in the videos released so far. The trailer for the movie came out on November 23.
