With the sensational blockbuster of RRR, SS Rajamouli’s name has echoed all over the world. The movie was released in five languages and has made a sensation wherever it was released. The movie team toured almost all of India for the promotions. Their promotions as well as the content in the film worked out and the flick performed like a true pan-India or rather a pan-World film. Now, SSR is making the following the same template for the Brahmastra film. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia, Amitabh Bachchan and King Nagarjuna in key roles, the movie is directed by Ayan Mukherjee.
While the to-be-released movie is the first part, it is said that there will be three parts. The film will hit the silver screens on the 9th of this month. As a result, the movie team are doing promotions extensively. The plot point is regarding Indian ancient Astras or weapons based on Hindu mythology. The first part will rotate around a protagonist called Siva who can hold the Agneyastra or fire. Shahrukh Khan will be seen in a key cameo role in the film. Brahmastra will be released in almost all languages in India. The important thing is that star director SSR is promoting the film almost as if it is his film. He is roaming all over India with the movie team in promotions and is even talking great things about the film. He is the presenter of Brahmastra in Telugu.
The question in everyone’s mind is.. why is Rajamouli taking the movie on to his head? According to the inside sources of Brahmastra, SSR was offered a huge amount to stay with the film and promote it. He is even planning Telugu promotional programs. For this, SSR is said to have suggested erecting a set in Ramoji Film City similar to RRR or Baahubali. He himself is said to have invited Jr Ntr as the chief guest to the program for which the latter readily agreed. It will be live on the 2nd of September. Even though the amount to SSR was not mentioned, it is a huge paycheck, says the inside sources.
