It’s not over.. India’s Ace director Rajamouli’s mammoth film RRR gives us another big moment by winning the prestigious Hollywood Critics Association ( HCA ) in the category of best original song Naatu Naatu.
The award numbers are racking up one by one followed in the categories of
1. Best Stunts
2. Best Action Film
3. Best International film
4. Best Original Song
RRR film’s music director Keeravani MM graced the event and received the award. And his winning speech words just showcased how much he is feeling happy for this award. “Thank you very much, HCA for this award. I would like to borrow my favourite Steven’s tune to thank the one and only mastermind behind this song which is his brainchild. “Isn’t it rich… with this award in my hand, what a great moment, thank you very much Rajamouli…”.
The movie was helmed by SS Rajamouli and bankrolled by DVV Danayya. It stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran in prominent roles.
The film was the highest grosser in its release year in the Telugu version. And recently in Japan, the film turned out collect a billion Yen and became the first Indian film to do so.
Before this HCA award, the film especially the Naatu Naatu song was awarded many prestigious awards including the Golden Globes award and many more.. The next target for the song is the Oscar winning moment. The song has already been nominated in the category of Best Original Song. Let’s take this run forward until our Telugu language and Telugu soil feel proud at the global level.
