A few days back at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, where SS Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR bagged the Best Song (Motion Picture) for Naatu Naatu. The Ace director Rajamouli’s mammoth film RRR came, saw and conquered at the Golden Globes. SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster has won Best Original Song for the globally viral Naatu Naatu song, among Hollywood’s biggest awards.
Now the epic period drama has won a couple of awards at the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards (CCA).
This Tollywood blockbuster has won another two new awards in the Best International Film and the Best Song categories. Our master storyteller SS Rajamouli and his son SS Kartikeya received the awards and thanked the CCA jury for the awards.
The expectations for this film’s Oscar nominations are very high. Many people strongly believe that RRR will become the first Telugu movie from India to win an Oscar. However, the results are yet to be released.
