Directed by Swami Rara fame Sudheer Varma, Saakini Daakini is slated to hit the theatres on Sep16. Starring Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, the movie is touted to be an entertaining thriller. The film is said to be an official remake of the Korean film Midnight Runners.
Ahead of the film’s release, makers of this movie unveiled the teaser today. The one minute teaser promised an hilarious Ride with a cat and mouse relationship between Nivetha and Regina. Both are seen in a Police trainee role in the film and are introduced as the roommates in the police academy. The teaser continued with a lot of silly fights between the two. Later, how Saakini and Daakini will join hands together forms the main crux of the movie.
With high on entertaining, the teaser promised an hilarious ride. Director Sudheer who is well known for his thriller blend comedy films looks like followed the same genre for this film as well .
Kabir Duhan Singh will be seen playing the baddie in the movie. The film is Bankrolled by D Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati under the banner of Suresh Productions. Mikey McCleary has composed the music for the film, while Viplav Nyshadam was on board as the editor.
