The film Kedarnath was released in 2018 and was directed by Abhishek Kumar, starring Sushanth Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. It was also Sara Ali Khan’s debut film in Bollywood. The movie Kedarnath turns five today, on 7 December 2023.
Sara Ali Khan has always shown her love for this film as it was her first film, and she never failed to share how close it was to her.
Even today, taking to her Instagram, Sara Ali Khan shared a beautiful video as she visited Kedarnath and comprised BTS moments from her debut film shoot. In addition to the video, she wrote a lengthy note thanking the makers. She also remembered the late actor Sushanth Singh Rajput and mentioned how he stood as a pillar and helped her throughout her journey.
The actor wrote about sushanth, “My eager and curious questions to Sushant about what I can do to be better, his selfless and unconditional help & support,”
Sara ended her note by saying, “5 years ago, the silver screen said ‘Introducing Sara Ali Khan.’ And there’s not a single day that I wouldn’t want to live every moment of this film all over again. Jai Bholenath. Kedarnath, thank you for making me. April mein aati hoon 7.12.2018,”
