The first full-length trailer of the highly anticipated film Shamshera is out now. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, and more, the film, directed by Karan Malhotra, is a period drama set in the 1800s. In Shamshera, Ranbir Kapoor plays a dacoit warrior in a double role. The plot revolves around a tribe of warriors who go up against British rule in India.
Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist Shuddh Singh, employed by the British to find the criminal who has terrorized the local villagers. Sanjay Dutt was recently seen in Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj. He also played the antagonist Adheera in Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2. Shamshera is set in the backdrop of 1871. The locals and the scale all look incredibly impressive. Since the makers are releasing it in IMAX, it seems like they have ensured that the audience gets the experience that is worth the money. Shamshera is all set to hit the box office on July 22, 2022.
