Ram Charan’s fans’ hopes lie on RC15 after the debacle of Acharya. Even though RRR’s hangover covered up Acharya’s effect to some extent, the fans are hoping for Cherry to come back on the blockbuster track with Shankar Shanmugam’s directorial. The film, which was on a regular schedule and has been completing the schedules rapidly, has suddenly come to a halt now. It’s being said that the director Shankar has left the film and moved on to Indian 2. On the other hand, Ram Charan is also said to have joined the team of UV/NV Prasad’s film RC16. The real reason behind Shankar leaving the project mid-way is yet to be known.
The film circles speculate that the director left the project temporarily because of the strike of producers. Being a Telugu film, RC15’s shoot has stopped as well and no one is clearly saying when will the shoot start again. As a result, Shankar has decided to concentrate on his next project Indian-2 for time being and will be continuing on that project’s progress until Tollywood starts shooting again. Meanwhile, Ram Charan is said to be sitting on the story discussions of RC16. The film will be helmed by Jersey fame Gowtham Tinnanuri and is said to be a very unique storyline. We have to wait and see for the strike’s completion so that RC 15 will finish its shooting. RC fans are worried that Shankar might not be concentrating fully on this project owing to the side distraction of Bharateeyudu 2.
