Chanyeol is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and model. He is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo.Chanyeol became a trainee under SM Entertainment after winning second place in the 2008 Smart Model Contest.
Chen is also a member of EXO. Reportedly, EXO-Ls sent protest trucks to SM Entertainment’s building and demanded the company immediately remove Chen and Chanyeol from EXO because of the ‘scandals’ in their personal lives that came in front of the world in the last few years.
EXO fandom demands that Chen and Chanyeol leave the group, as they caused controversy over their private lives in terms of idol careers.
EXO-L continued to fight Kim Jong-dae and Park Chan-yeol’s exit from the group on January 20, when there was a controversy, and the SM agency chose to remain silent.
But now things seem turning chaotic as some EXO-Ls are protesting against Chen and Chanyeol’s presence in the group.
Reacting to the same the netizens are divided into two sections where the former group thinks they understand how the EXO-Ls feel and that SM Entertainment should listen to them. They also said since fans want it, the members should voluntarily leave the group.
The other group of netizens seemed disappointed with the fans for their overreaction. One said that if the fans have a problem with their idols, they should consider leaving the fandom instead of trying to ruin their idols’ lives.
