Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey played the lead roles in the Telugu film Liger. The film is gearing up for a grand release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. There is a shocking rumor in the trade about the film’s non-theatrical rights.
If the reports are true, Sony Music bagged the film’s non-theatrical rights for a whopping amount. The reports say that the music rights were sold to 14 Cr rupees. The satellite and digital rights combinedly were sold to 85 Cr rupees. On the whole, the deal has come around 99 Cr rupees.
Considering the buzz around the film, this is a very big advantage for the film. Puri Jagannath is the film’s director and he is also the producer. Charmmee Kaur is also producing the film along with him.
The film unit is currently busy with promotions. Let us hope that the film becomes a big hit.
