Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 Censor Certification, Run Time and More

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s 2018 film Stree not only captivated audiences but also set a new benchmark for horror comedies in India. After a long wait, the sequel Stree 2 is finally on the horizon, and the excitement is palpable.

The film Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank has been granted a ‘UA’ certification by the CBFC on August 8, 2024. The movie, which has a runtime of 149 minutes and 29 seconds (2 hours, 29 minutes, and 29 seconds), is scheduled for theatrical release in India on August 15, 2024.

This film, which stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana alongside Kapoor and Dhawan, is set to continue the narrative of the highly successful 2018 horror-comedy. As the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, Stree 2 promises to deliver more thrills and laughs, culminating in a release on August 15, 2024, with special night shows on August 14 to celebrate Independence Day.

August 15, 2024, will not only see the release of Stree 2 but also two other significant films hitting the theaters. Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz, is a comedy-drama featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast including Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal.
