Siddharth Touches Rekha’s Feet at Reception

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding reception was a glittering affair, attended by some of the biggest names in Bollywood. Held at Bastian in Mumbai on Sunday, the reception saw the presence of film veterans like Rekha, Saira Banu, Tabu, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Raveena Tandon, and Salman Khan. The evening was marked by numerous heartwarming moments, including a viral video of Rekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and her fiancé Siddharth posing together. In the video, Siddharth is seen touching Rekha’s feet, capturing the respect and admiration he holds for her. As they left the red carpet, the paparazzi could be heard teasing, “Next jodi, next shaadi,” referring to Siddharth and Aditi, who got engaged in March this year. Aditi and Sonakshi recently shared screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi, adding to the celebratory atmosphere with a mini Heeramandi reunion at the reception.

A Memorable Night with Friends and Family

The reception also saw the presence of parents-to-be Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who twinned in black outfits, winning hearts with their coordinated look. Heeramandi’s Alamzeb, played by Sharmin Segal, made a rare appearance at the party with her husband Aman Mehta. Sanjeeda Shaikh turned heads in a striking purple ensemble, while Heeramandi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali opted for a traditional white kurta. Although Manisha Koirala was absent, the event was nothing short of spectacular. Siddharth and Aditi, dressed in traditional attire, also attended Sonakshi and Zaheer’s registry at the bride’s Bandra apartment earlier in the day.

Sonakshi and Zaheer shared their joy with their fans by posting dreamy wedding pictures on social media. Sonakshi wrote a heartfelt note, reflecting on their journey together: “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope, and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.” Sonakshi wore her mother’s vintage saree and jewelry for the wedding, adding a touch of familial love and tradition to the special day.
