Superstar Rajinikanth made his grand presence at the Ponniyin Selvan trailer launch happened in Chennai yesterday. Even Universal Hero Kamal Haasan has attended this grand event.
Talking at this event, Superstar Rajinikanth said that he wished to be a part of Ponniyin Selvan and also offered to play the role of Periya Pazhuvettaraiyar played by Sarath Kumar, but Mani Ratnam had denied it.
On the other hand, Rajini revealed an interesting fact about one of his career blockbuster: Narasimha (Padayappa). The actor said that the best character in the film – Neelambari portrayed by Ramya Krishnan is inspired by Nandini’s character from Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan novel. Former miss universe Aishwarya Rai Potrays this Nandini role in PS-1.
