Hunt is an upcoming Telugu action psychological thriller film which is directed by Mahesh Surapaneni. It is an official Telugu remake of Rosshan Andrrews’s directorial 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police which stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role as a cop. The making video released by the team on Jan 09, 2023, was going viral on the internet.
Sudheer Babu introduces the world of action that is crammed into ‘Hunt’ at the beginning of the making video. The action will be incredibly realistic and visually captivating, the director Mahesh says. He also calls the movie a true, authentic, and raw action thriller. To present a fresh viewing experience for the audience on the big screen the movie team including Sudheer Babu performed all the action scenes without ropes and mattresses.
The team mentioned that Renaud Favero and Bryan Viger, who worked on several Marvel films and also on ‘John Wick 4’, have composed the action sequences for this film. These world-class action compositions are sure to thrill the Telugu audience.
‘Premiste’ fame Bharath Niwas was also part of this movie and performed several stunts along with Sudheer Babu. Sudheer Babu mentions that working with an actor with an equal physique is awesome and it should be fun for the audience to witness these action sequences. The team also shot a car accident scene without using any computer graphics.
Actor Srikanth plays an important role in this movie. This movie is bankrolled by V Ananda Prasad under the banner Bhavya Creations. This action psychological thriller is going to hit the theaters on Jan 26, 2023.
