Sunny Kaushal Explains Purpose Behind Kat and Vicky No-Phone Policy

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding, one of the most talked-about events in recent Bollywood history, adopted a no-phone policy that intrigued many. Sunny Kaushal, Vicky’s brother, recently shed light on the rationale behind this unique decision, revealing that it was not about maintaining privacy or exclusivity but about enhancing the overall experience for the guests. Sunny Kaushal explains the true purpose behind Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s no-phone wedding policy.

In a candid interview with a leading news outlet, Sunny Kaushal elaborated on the reason for the no-phone rule at the high-profile wedding. Contrary to popular assumptions, the policy was not intended to keep details of the celebration under wraps but rather to ensure that everyone present could fully immerse themselves in the joyous occasion without distractions.

Sunny Kaushal explained that the decision to ban phones was born out of the realization that the atmosphere of the wedding was so engaging and enjoyable that guests were fully absorbed in the moment. He described how the absence of phones allowed everyone to genuinely connect and relish the festivities, leading to a spontaneous and heartfelt celebration. “We found that people were having such a great time that they didn’t miss having their phones with them. It wasn’t about keeping things private or exclusive; it was about creating an environment where people could live in the moment without distractions,” Sunny Kaushal shared.

The Kaushal family, along with Katrina’s relatives and friends, bonded deeply during the wedding celebrations, which spanned three days. Sunny Kaushal remarked on how the experience was more about shared joy and connection than about capturing or showcasing the event on social media. “The wedding was such an immersive experience that none of us realized how quickly the three days passed. There was no pressure to hide or flaunt anything; it was all about enjoying the genuine moments together,”  Sunny Kaushal added.
