Sushmita Sen had recently gone through a cardiac arrest – an increasingly common happening in the masses lately – but, what stood her out is the fact that she called the hospital herself when it happened! This went viral when Charu Asopa, her sister-in-law broke it to the internet. Ever since, fans have been concerned about her wellbeing and keeping a close check on her health updates.
Yesterday night, Sushmita Sen connected with her fans through an impromptu Instagram live and informed that her health is fabulous. She was in a ‘slumber’ for a while but otherwise everything’s perfect. Fans excitedly started asking questions about her upcoming series Aarya 3, about which she revealed a few interesting points. “I am waiting for Aarya 3. I think it’s going to be very lovely this time. There is a lot that has gone into it… so many things to tell you when we finally discuss Aarya about all the stuff that we did, pre health scare and all the action we did post. I hope you like it.” she said. Her Instagram live was from inside her car on a rainy night in Bombay with her daughter Alisah.
Speaking of Aarya, it is a TV series where Sushmita is the lead, as Aarya Sareen. The series is about Aarya, an independent woman who seeks to protect her family and joins a mafia gang in order to get revenge for her husband’s murder. Created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, this series saw a big hit on OTT and came up with a sequel. The fans couldn’t get enough of Aarya Sareen so the Aarya franchise will witness the addition of part three very soon! The filming is done and dusted as of last month, the team is now eager to begin with promotional events and other revelations before dropping the complete series on Disney+ Hotstar.
