”The Marvels” director praises Brie Larson

Nia Da Costa was the first black woman to have a film at the American box office and the youngest person to direct Marvel cinematic universe franchise film. She is directing ”The Marvels”, the sequel to” Captain Marvel”.

In a recent interview with harper bazaar, the director talked about Brie Larson’s acting range and the incredible control she exhibited in playing the role of captain marvel/ caro danvers. saying, ”We are doing an emotional scene and Brie turns to me, takes three or four, and goes, so, I’m holding the tears in, but if you want them to fall, let me know.” The kind of control she has over her instrument is really impressive.

Brie Larson is an incredible actress who won an Academy Award for best actress for her role in the movie ” Room”. Her performance as carol danvers / Captain Marvel in the movie was critically acclaimed and the movie collected $ 1.131 billion. ”The Marvels” is scheduled for release on November 10. 2023.
