Vishwak Sen and Nivetha Pethuraj’s Das Ka Dhamki released in theaters on March 22, since beginning the film had a lot of comparisons with Ravi Teja’s latest super hit Dhamaka. However, actor Viswak gave clarity on it, saying both the films are entirely different.
However, things got slightly out of hand in a theatre screening in Vizag’s Sukanya after they played the wrong film on the big screen. Fans got confused after the projection got interrupted. Instead of playing Vishwak Sen and Nivetha Pethuraj’s Das Ka Dhamki, the theater started playing Ravi Teja and Sreeleela’s Dhamaka. The screening had to be stopped for a while after the theater owners realized their mistake.
The video of the same has been circulating on various social media channels and has been a source of some genuine laughs amidst all the confusion. This is one rare instance in recent times when we have heard of such a curious mix-up of this magnitude happening for a major release.
Das Ka Dhamki is Vishwak’s second directorial venture after Falaknuma Das which was released in 2019. Apart from being one of the producers of the movie, he has also essayed dual roles in it. The film has cinematography by Dinesh K Babu and editing by Anwar Ali.
