Sony and Marvel Studios Venom 3 gets a new title, Venom: The Last Dance! Chip for release date

 Venom: The Last Dance

According to the latest update that has been made to the domestic Sony Pictures release calendar, the third installment of the Venom series has been titled Venom: The Last Dance, and the film’s release date has been moved to October 25, 2024 .

The new title, Venom: The Last Dance suggests this could be the last outing for Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom and  is intended to be the sixth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU) .

The highly anticipated Marvel film is being written, co-produced, and directed by Kelly Marcel (in her directorial debut) from a story she wrote with Tom Hardy, who reprises his roles as Eddie Brock and Venom and also serves as a producer.

Despite anticipation and the introduction of the multiverse in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will most likely not appear in Venom 3. The filming of Venom 3 was impacted by the 2023 Hollywood strikes, although no public clues have been made concerning Holland’s Spider-Man participating in the film.

While another version of Spider-Man could appear in Venom 3, it does not make narrative sense to include Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. Other options include Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and the arrival of Miles Morales.
