With his most recent release, 2018, a movie about the Kerala Floods, Tovino Thomas scored a tremendous box office hit. The movie, which debuted in theatres on May 5, became the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever made. The Malayalam movie broke box office records and received a tonne of positive reviews. In fact, the response to the movie was so positive that it was released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi after only one week in Malayalam.
According to some of the latest updates, The digital premiere of Malayalam cinema’s biggest blockbuster to date, 2018, was officially announced by SonyLIV on Monday. Just over a month after its initial theatre release, the Tovino Thomas-starring film will be made streamable on the site on June 7.
This movie was recently dubbed into Telugu and is doing well at the box office. This movie officially collected over 160 crores around the globe. and it became the biggest hit in Malayalam cinema, surpassing Puli Murugan.
