Triptii Dimri played the role of Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal.’ Although she got huge appreciation for her role in the movie it is quite challenging. The actress Triptii Dimri revealed the reason why she signed the movie ‘Animal.’
Zoya is Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen girlfriend, portrayed by Triptii who divulges her true scheme later in the second part. Despite having a supporting role she stole the show. The actress gained huge popularity after the film’s release. Recently, Triptii called her character, Zoya ‘brave and naive’.
Triptii Dimri opened up during the most recent interaction with the media house, about her decision to work on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal. The actress acknowledged that she dislikes being in her comfort zone, which she discovered while completing the production of Qala (2022) and Bulbbul (2020).
Triptii Dimri revealed the reason behind signing ‘Animal’
Unlike her previous roles, the Bad Newz actress found Animal “quite challenging,” although she felt excited being on those sets. Triptii mentioned that it’s critical to sign roles in movies that advance her acting career.
“Every time I get a role, I feel like it’s both scary and challenging. That’s exactly how I felt when Sandeep sir explained Zoya’s character to me. She seemed both brave and innocent at the same time, and that excited me. I’m always looking for roles that offer something different,” Triptii said in the interview.
In the same conversation, Dimri was asked to select Vicky Kaushal or Ranbir Kapoor as her “3 AM friend” during the same conclave. Triptii highlighted Vicky Kaushal, her co-star on Bad Newz, implying that she is close to him.
On being noticed worldwide after animal she called it a “beautiful feeling”. She further stated that she is grated for receiving a lot of love from the audience.
The Bad Newz actress has several upcoming films scheduled, such as Dhadak 2, Aashiqui 3, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Returning to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, Ranbir Kapoor portrayed the twin parts of Aziz Haque and Ranvijay Singh. Rashmika Mandanna was selected to play Geetanjali Iyengar Singh, his wife. Abrar sends Triptii Dimri’s character Zoya to set up Ranbir’s character Ranvijay with a honey trap.
In addition, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Prem Chopra, and Saurabh Sachdeva starred in the action-drama from 2023. Balbir Singh, Ranbir’s father, was portrayed by Anil. In Vanga’s directing, Bobby Deol was chosen to play the silent antagonist Abrar Haque.
