Trisha becomes the busiest actress post Ponniyan Selvan sequel success. With slew of films lying aside for their releases staring the actress, She still has handful of committed projects. As everyone knows Trisha will be seen as the female lead in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming directorial starring Vijay Thalapthy titled Leo. Touted to be an action entertainer, one of the most anticipated upcoming movie.
Garjanai- This project completed it’s shooting and was delayed with release of the movie. Trailer of the movie is released last year which shows an action packing reels of the actress. It is a remake of Anushka Sharma’s 2015 hit NH10.
The Road- Directorial Debut of Arun Vaseegaran. Actress is seen playing the lead in the film as makers dropped the video from the film wishing actress birthday. This project is said to be based on real life incidents although there is no update from the makers after the announcement
Sathuranga Vettai 2- This is also one of her projects that completed with everything incusing post productions but hasn’t announced anything yet about the movie. NV Nirmal Kumar directed movie is said to be paused it’s release due to its financial issues.
Ram- This will be Trisha’s second Malayalam film. Starring Laletten Mohanlal as the main lead, movie is touted be an action thriller which revolves around Ram. This movie was supposed to release in 2021 but was delayed due to pandemic so director confirmed it to be releasing this year during Christmas. Director also revealed that movie will be in two parts.
Trisha also shot with director Surya Vangala for a web series titled Brinda. If this OTT releases, it becomes her debut entry into OTT platforms where she’ll be seen playing as Brinda. Show was announced in 2021 by streaming platform Sony Liv but there’s no update about it’s premiere until now although Series schedules were wrapped up last year only.
Buzz is also that she’s collaborating with actress Simran for an untitled project. It is said that they’ll be seen playing as sisters in the project directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan. She also signed a project called 1818 taken from stories inspired around 26/11 attacks in Mumbai but there’s no official announcement yet.
