VD Gets ‘Disappointed’ By Watching Liger in Theatres

Vijay Deverakonda and Annaya Pandey starrer Liger had a decent opening day, but due to negative audience reception right from the first show, the film faced a big crash on its second day and then never really recovered over the weekend.

The situation for the film was so bad that it was trailing behind Karthikeya 2 in Telugu States on weekend.

Meanwhile, as per the trusted sources, it is heard that Vijay Deverakonda “cried” after watching Liger in one of the theatres in Hyderabad. It is also heard that he was disappointed with the final product and the worst response from the crowd also “dampened” Vijay’s mood.

On the other hand, though the film had high promotions in Bollywood, even its Hindi version collected just Rs. 6.50 crores for the first two days.

Coming to the film, in association with Puri connects, Liger was produced jointly by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Liger, stars Ananya Panday in lead actress role and has Ramya Krishna and Mike Tyson in key roles. The film is available in theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
