VD’s Kushi To Be Postponed?

Vijay Deverakonda has got the shock of his life with Liger. The film disappointed the audience a big time and its result was not up to the range Rowdy star expected. In a sense, the disastrous result brought the star down to earth from cloud9. Cine experts opine that there is no doubt about talent and hard work in Vijay but the star needs to have an idea of how to pick good scripts. In fact, he raked in the craze throughout India very fastly which many actors can only dream of. His current image throughout India was achieved without much struggle of his, courtesy-Arjun Reddy. VD has done only a handful of films till now yet has the appeal all over India on par with B-Town megastars. But, with Liger, there is a unanimous opinion going around that he has wasted a glorious opportunity to cement his pan-Indian position.

Now, there are reports that VD has shelved his next project Janaganamana which he had to do with Puri. He is completing the other projects he is committed to. But they have the impact of Liger. For instance, the Shiva Nirvana-VD combo movie Kushi has already completed 70 percent of its shoot. The next schedule has begun in Chilukur. The movie was slated to release on the Christmas of this year. But, now new reports suggest that the film’s release is likely to be postponed to next year. Along with a few other reasons, Vijay’s Liger result too is said to have influenced this decision. The makers are thinking of delaying the release so that there won’t be the impact of Liger on their film. VD fans are hoping that he will at least be careful with his upcoming scripts. We will have to see how his career pans out from here.
