Veerasimha Reddy Screening Paused In The US

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan starrer Veera Simha Reddy is up for a theatrical release tomorrow worldwide. Helmed by Gopichand Malineni, the movie is in the news again.

In Indian cinema, while watching the movie chantings, shoutings, dancings, and throwing papers over the screen was common way that fans show their love towards their favourite actors and celebrate the movie. But not all countries allow the same behaviour inside the cinemas.

A similar incident took place in a theater in the US. The details about the theater were not disclosed but a video uploaded by a fan during the incident went viral on the internet. In the viral video, we see a theater representative lecturing fans about how he had never experienced such a fiasco before. He is seen pointing towards the papers that were thrown inside for celebrations and says that is unacceptable. We also see a police officer instructing the crowd to leave the venue in wake of what happened earlier.

Following the same Indian tradition in other countries makes the screening of upcoming Indian cinemas difficult. So fans should try some other ways that don’t affect either theater management or Indian cinema.
